I heard it again today.  LIFE CAN CHANGE ON A DIME. 

This is not a new one.  I've heard it at least a million times.  But today, it struck me, I always take it negatively.  You know, "Drive carefully, life can change on a dime."  Don't forget to say I love you, life can change on dime." 

But why do we have to see it as a negative?  Why can't we see it in a positive light? 

Yeah, I get it, it is important to remember to drive carefully and to say I love you.  Because life CAN change on a dime. 

But how about this?  Before you had someone to say I love you to, LIFE CHANGED ON A DIME!  Yep, there you were minding your own business wandering through life with the greatest of ease and BAM!, there in front of you was someone to love.  A future spouse, a child, a grandchild, a friend.  One minute they weren't there and then they were. 

How about with business?  You're plugging along doing all the blogging, mailings, phone calls, training, hand shaking and it doesn't seem to be getting you anywhere.  The phone isn't ringing, the email is quiet and BAM!  You get a call or an email and it's all changed! You're off and running with a new listing or a qualified buyer.  LIFE CHANGED ON A DIME!

Sure, you earned the dime with your time, money and effort.  But it happened so fast you just can't believe your good fortune.  LIFE CHANGED ON A DIME!

It's called hope and faith.  You really can't have one without the other, in my opinion.  Believe in something you can't see and one day you will see it.  Hope for whatever it is you dream of and one day, it won't be a dream, it will be a reality. Why? Because . . .
