This is a little out of my local area, by about 2 hours!  And normally I wouldn't do it, but, my Number One Grandson, Stirling, is participating and I wanted to cheer him on and let you all know about FCA Hockey.

FCA Hockey strives to ignite the hockey world for Christ.  The ministry is aimed at encouraging any one involved with hockey, be they players, coaches, family or just fans, to the truth of Christ's love and to help them learn to live with Christ as their guiding force on and off the ice.  They hold camps, clinics, Bible studies, social interactions, outreach events and they host teams.

FCA Hockey is headed up by West Point grad and former head hockey coach at the US Naval Academy (GO NAVY!), Rick Randazzo.  "We want to ignite the hockey world for Christ.  In terms of the major sports it is really the final frontier." Rick Randazzo.

FCA Hockey is holding a Hockey Clinic at the Raleigh Ice Plex in Raleigh, NC this Saturday August 21, 2010.  All male and female hockey players squirt through midget looking to improve their fundamental hockey skills are invited to sign up.

Squirt and Peewees   3:45 - 5:30

Bantam and Midgets  5:45 - 7:30

Cost is $15 and all participants will receive an FCA Hockey Jersey.
