This Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 7pm, Wrightsville Beach Museum will be hosting author Jay Barnes. Mr. Barnes has a new book Hurricane Hazel in the Carolinas.

The storm that hit the evening of October 15, 1954, changed Wrightsville Beach forever. Come hear how the residents banded together to protect, survive and re-build.

The museum is located at 303 W. Salisbury Street Wrightsville Beach. There will be copies of the book available for purchase and signing.
